COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The perfect blend of spice is found in Optimal Wit. This Belgian style witbier is crisp & citrusy with layers of flavor that evolve in the glass. It is brewed with Virginia wheat, Spanish orange peels & coriander. Grains of Paradise give a subtle, peppery finish. It tastes like Sunshine & Happiness!

12oz Bottle. The pour was a cloudy medium yellow with a large (2-3 finger) white fizzy head that receded at a rather quick steady pace, and produced poor spotty lacing. The aroma was mild of a light grain malt and a musty Belgian yeast with notes of citrus (orange), coriander and a hint of pepper. The taste was lightly sweet and citrusy from the beginning, then progressed with a light spicy and mild funky yeast taste and a slight peppery ending. The flavor lasted an average duration after consumption, with a spicy yeast taste fading slowing into the background. Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a carbonation that was just beyond mild. Overall this was a very mild Witbier, both in taste and body. Although, it would make a great session beer on one of those intensely hot summer days...

Bright cloudy ywllow. Aromatic, citrus and coriander. Bright aroma as well. Grains of paradise add complexity, but I'm not sure I like em here. Light crisp body. Solid overall.

Tasted at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado. Good flavors, close to style, as expected without too many surprises.

Canned 473ml. -Cloudy lemon yellow coloured, small white head that went away fast, coriander and whiff of vegetables in the nose. Milky, coriander, light fruity and notes of vegetables with mild spicy notes. Maaybeee discreet vanilla and some yeast in the finish. light fruity ice cream like notes. Quite nice.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle shared with Keen and drank whilst chatting to the brewer. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and fairly dry. Decent fine minerally carbonation. Light malts, slightky sweet. Sweet floralness. Nice light spice. Light floral citrus. Crisp dry finish. Clean crisp wit. Their best seller if memory serves.

Pours cleanly into a German wheat glass, its effervescent and bubbly like champagne. The aroma of grass and grain is somewhat muted. The taste is very clean and crisp, with pleasant hints of green apple and wheatgrass. Not too much character in the finish though, the taste quickly fades. Ok, but doesn't stack up to other imported Wit beers.

Draft. Good solid wit beer smells with nice yeast and wheat. Pour hazy gold with fast disappearing white head. Balanced flavors of yeast and wheat with a fizzy mouthfeel and a super short astringent finish. Nice.

12 oz bottle. Pours hazy pale straw with tall, long lasting, fluffy white head and lively carbonation. Aroma is of funky yeast, wheat malt, spices, candy sugar and citrus fruit. Body is medium and smooth. Wheat malt, yeast, lemon grass, cotton candy and spices fill the mouth. Finish is long and semi-sweet. OK brew.

16 ounce can poured into a snifter. The beer is a hazy pale yellow with a white head of foam. Good head retention. Nice orange and doughy notes. Lightly fruity. A bit of an herbal finish. Medium body and medium carbonation. Pretty refreshing.

Thanks Ogi! Misty yellow body, full, tiny white head. Enormous, soft coriander & orange aroma, bit lactic, like a slightly sweeter Hoegaarden. Taste... soft and balanced, sweetish, juicy, again, coriander and a touch of orange, perfumey, vague peach juice too. Dry finish and far from cloying, though it does have a nice bit of body for the style. Ends dry and ever ever ever so lightly bitter, just as a counterpoint note to a powdery dryness. Excellent, drinkable, slightly moreish wit.

Tap at The Pony Bar, New York. Pours cloudy yellow gold with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, lemon, orange, coriander and ice cream soda. Quite heavy sweetness, light bitters and sour. Light to medium body, slightly watery texture, average to fine carbonation.
