Tap at the brewery - just a downright great rendition of a classic, and now overlooked style - complex chocolate, cherry, and espresso, with a moderate bitterness and roast to keep it from getting too sweet - if this were Ratebeer circa 2003, this beer would be in high demand.

Bottle. I got this in a sampler pack for Christmas, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect, but I ended up really liking this. Barely translucent black pour with a tan head. Roasty aroma and flavor, with some chocolate notes in the finish. Easy drinking for a porter. Good cold-weather brew.
