Pours a dark brown color with a lacy tan head. Notes of dark chocolate, smoke, and burnt bread. EBROVIAK (36) - - FEB 29, 2016
Not enough toasty, roasty flavors for a porter IMO. Not a bad beer for sure but didnít hold up to others in the flights I tried. Good body but very neutral flavor profile. More like a great lager than a porter.

Dark, dark porter with medium bitterness supported by good sweetness. Aroma with some grape aroma but in taste it goes to raisins. Rosty but not to rosty. All in all nice porter but nothing special for GABF 2015 winner in porter category.

Bottle. Pours a clear brown body with a small wispy brown head that faded to a wispy film. The nose is very chocolaty with some roast, coffee, caramel, and slightly citrusy hops. The flavor is a little thin though, not a whole lot of chocolate malt showing thru, itís more of a bland and slightly weak roasted malt flavor. Minimal hoppiness, just enough to help balance out the sweetness some. Light to medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation. Meh, a below average effort for the style. brownaler (644) - Alexandria, Virginia, USA - SEP 17, 2015
Roasted chocolate aroma. Bold and robust coffee front with a smooth finish.
