On draught at Alphabet City Beer Co. The beer is a brown-black color with a medium foamy tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Light-bodied with a slightly briny character and notes of bittersweet chocolate, malt and coffee. The finish is roasty malt and salted chocolate. Pretty good overall. dlovell2 (2378) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - JUL 21, 2014

This is the first oyster stout I had while actually eating oysters thanks to some event I stumbled into by accident at Glen’s Garden Market. Free food is awesome. This one has nice roast and a good dose of oyster saltiness. Pours black with good head and lacing. Bitter and lightly salty finish. Light oyster notes. These guys make good dark beers. Tap.
