Clear umber color with a modest, stable, small bubbled, beige colored head. Sweeter aromas, with some caramel, toasted grains, hint of sour dough and floral hops. Lightly sweet start that lead to a night toasted grain middle. Rather full feel. Earthy hops and touch of spice. Only a hint of the sour dough caught in the aroma. A beefy Oktoberfest. Good for a late fall evening.

Tap at Trolfest. Amber brown body. Inexpert lagering, has some underlying putrid tones. Amateur overall feel combined with the ambler malt is too much for me. Drain pour. Disappointing. wlajwl (6812) - Quad Cities, Iowa, USA - NOV 14, 2015
Aroma is fruit/berries, malts and a hint of oak. The flavor is fruit/berries/, oak/wood, malts and a slightly dry/very slightly coarse finish schmittaj (16) - Wisconsin, USA - SEP 25, 2015
Nice color. Not exactly what I think of for an Oktoberfest, its got notes of fruit that seem out of place. beerbaaron (1998) - Arizona, USA - SEP 24, 2015
Not too sweet. Not too toasty. Not too spicy. A satisfying malty mix with just enough earthy hop. Good balance. Quite nice

Sampled at great taste. Deep amber hued. Hazy. This is earthy. Msome gentle fruit. Equally gentle spices. Jst a little fruit. Earth leads. A fairly robust Oktoberfest.
