Tap at Barcade, New York. Colour is cloudy reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, apples, caramel, some alcohol, sweetness and malts. You can actually taste apples in this which is strange. One of the strangest beers for a while. hivemind (914) - New York, New York, USA - JUL 11, 2015
Tap @ Barcade, 07.11.2015. Erica, Stiffler, Mike P. Auburn red pour, small head. Dry scotchy woody palate, heavy mouthfeel. Loads of caramel and anise, "Belgiany" touch to it. Heavy sugar too. Nose is caramel/bread/licorice. Jow (3897) - New York, USA - JUL 2, 2015
Tap at Draught 55. Clear reddish Amber beer thin head. Nose is alcohol and candy. Tastes of caramel, cherry cough syrup, resin, malty, hint of pine sol. Weak alcoholic palate. Ok crossovert (12642) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2015
650ml bottle. Its kinda got everything, tart booze, lots of caramel, pretty boozy. SG111 (1762) - New York, USA - OCT 12, 2014
On tap at 3rd year anniversary of the brewery. Appearance is copper red. Sweet aroma with a hop character to it. Citrus, orange. Flavor is not the caramel i expect at the forefront of a barleywine. Slight sweetness. But distinct hop finish. Not bad but a non-traditional barleywine imo.

Draft - blonde colored barley wine, with a light haze - odd flavor - kind of dough, floral, bitter and kind of soapy - some fruity white grape character - moderately bitter and acidic - finishing with strong sugary/frosting sweetness - weak, especially for this brewery. j12601 (10925) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 14, 2013
Growler courtesy of blipp at James’ place for a tasting. Pours a clear orange with a thin white head. Big sticky malt, toast and a bit of caramel. Sweet and malty, not so much malt as caramel sweetness. Lingering sweet caramel with a touch of bitterness. Decent enough. blipp (9168) - La Mesa, California, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Growler. Pours orange with an off white head. Light citric hops, some grainy malts and medium sweetness, bread, and a hint of booze. Solid enough. jtclockwork (16443) - , New Jersey, USA - MAR 2, 2013
Capri Sun growler shared by Blipp at tasting at my house. Pours orange. Nose and taste of yeast, bread, caramel and toffee. Body on the lighter side of medium for the style. Finishes with light bitter hop bite. GL2814 (361) - New York, New York, USA - JAN 5, 2013
This was my favorite of a flight of beers I had, mostly because of the sweet malty flavor, with notes of caramel and fruit. Very tasty.
