bought a 24oz can for $1 at Kroger, I was told by cheap that this brew is made for the Kroger market. It was a pleaseant surprise, I took cheap’s advice and drank it straight from the can. Just a good grass cutting beer, loved it! ChainGangGuy (4894) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - MAR 23, 2012
Appearance: Pours a clear, golden body with a couple inches of fizzy, white suds.

Smell: Not too much going on here, not that it was ever expected, with only a small whiff of faintly sweet malted basic barley.
Taste: Husky barley grains yielding little sweetness. Very faint hop character with a very low amount of incorporated bitterness. Dry, slightly fizzy finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Overall: It’s cheap, it’s a lite lager, though I’d still rather take a Sam Adams Light over it any day.
Now this is a beer, american style. Probably would be right at home drank from a brown paper bag. Can’t see the liquid because I drank it right out of the can; big 24 oz can is bigger than a bomber. The 3 in looks is for the nifty can label. I assume its just cheap plain clear yellah. First impression is not real bad and as a matter of fact is rather smooth for a three cent per ounce. Goes down too easy. .... Nice big can of american cheap pale lager; cheap and it taste like clean beer. Sail close to the wind premium american beer. Brewed just for kroger, heheh! Don’t you love it when they use the word premium to desscribe cheap pale lager? No real rude attributes, surprizingly acceptable. . Big thanks to Nike, this brew is a rocking racking big blue can of beer experience. nick76 (4399) - Tampa, Florida, USA - AUG 8, 2011
The aroma is typical macro light lager with corn malt, funk, and a light touch of grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a foamy head. The taste is rather good, just very watery. The palate is thin but right for the style and very refreshing. Overall I like this beer, it’s quite refreshing on a hot Florida summer night, I just wish it smelled better. garrison (812) - Cin. city, Ohio, USA - JUN 16, 2011
From a twenty four fluid ounce can purchased at the Fergueson Road Krogers - This one poured a golden fluid with a rapidly fading white head of foam that actually left some lacing as it faded away. Tastewise, it’s not bad, but there’s very little flavor and body to this brew!

Extremely clear straw yellow color with minimal bubbles. Candied citrus aroma with malt and aluminum undertones. Crisp clean palate that should be consumed cold. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - SEP 12, 2014

Poured from bottle into a pint glass
Appearance- The beer pours a clear straw color with a big fizzy white head. The head fades very fast leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell- The aroma is heaviest of sweet corn and a whole lot of sour grapes . Some grain and a little bit of a papery smell are there as well.
Taste -The taste begins with some light corn sweetness and a light grainy flavor. It is fairly consistent throughout the taste were in the middle it is joined by a rather tart and sour taste of green grapes and apples. These flavors take the taste to its end where they are joined by a little bit of bitterness and a slight paper taste, with them all, in the end, leaving a overall sour and light corny taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is very light with a carbonation level that is high. It is quite appropriate for the style as it hides any off flavors and makes it more refreshing.
Overall- A rather average light beer at a rather low price. It has much more sourness then the average light brew and is a bit more complex. It is not spectacular, but would make a good session style brew for a tailgate or the like. Tmoney99 (14502) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAY 17, 2011
24 oz. Can from Kroger - Mt. Carmel. Poured clear pale color with a medium to large frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. light to moderate sweet grainy aroma. Light to medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Light to medium sweet flavor with a light to medium sweet finish of light to moderate duration. My expectations where met with an average entry beer.

24 ounce can, 99 cents at Kroger. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a clear straw gold color with about an inch white head that went away quickly. There’s a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, corn and a teenie bit of green apple. It tastes like sweet malt/grain along with a slight bitterness. Mouthfeel/body is light, it’s crisp and refreshing and easy enough to drink. There’s nothing offensive about this brew. It’s not great, but it’s not bad either. I wouldn’t buy this very often, but for the price I’d certainly pick this up again if I was in the mood for a light beer. Drjohnrock (805) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - FEB 7, 2015
Poured from 24 ounce can purchased at Western Hills Kroger, tasted on September 6, 2014. Light yellow hue, faint to light bittersweet nose, light adjunct/bittersweet flavor. Not unpleasant and better than Bud Light--but you already knew that.
