Draft - Caramel and pine. Clear gold with a decent white head. Biscuit and battering hops. Nice. JohnnyJ (5570) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 5, 2015
On draft at the brewery. Hazy yellow pour, with a white head. Citrus, light bread malt, notes of caramel, not too intense of an IPA. Ok, nothing exciting. fiulijn (20993) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 2, 2014

Hazy golden golden color with creamy head. A nice Pale Ale, with lean body, toffeish flavor, nice resiny hopping, strong bitterness and some fruity touch.
Bottle. Orange pour with white head. Aroma is rather restrained, malty rather than hoppy. Very hoppy flavour, citrus and pine. Long bitter finish. hawanna (3329) - Freising, GERMANY - AUG 21, 2013
Bitter and fruity IPA.
Nice and drinkable with medium body and medium carbonation.

8/15/2011: Port Townsend Bitter End... Light and airy palate, but didn’t taste like much after the Hop Diggity!
Draught at Port Townsend Brewing Company in Port Townsend, WA. Rating #58 for this beer.
Crisp copper coloured body with a one centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pale malt, a bit of floral hops, some citrus and a hint of alcohol. Light-bodied; Sharp metallic malty note with a twang of citrus and pine, a little earthy flavour and a lot of bitterness at the end. Aftertaste shows not much hops at all, some malt, a little fruit flavours and mostly bitter metal flavours. Overall, not such a great IPA, and not good for a west coast IPA. Decent to try at least given that I’m not from around there, but not worth the space in my suitcase. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Bottleworks in Seattle, Washington on 11-January-2013 for US$4.19 sampled at home in the real Washington on 07-February-2013 a day before leaving back for Seattle. hayduke (5575) - Eureka, California, USA - AUG 29, 2011
Poured a golden orange with a nice head showing the same colors in the bubbles. The nose was pine and floral hops on a caramel malt base. Medium body. Smooth mouthfeel. Flavor is classic IPA, with citrus, pine, and flowers leading to a long dry bitter finish. Well done.

22 oz. bottle from Hayduke. We shared it via facebook chat. We had difficulty identifying it. Our bottles don’t say "Bitter End" but neither does the bottle in the photo here. This bottle had a little yeast in the bottom so I rolled it some. Due to the yeast it was hazy and golden orange with a nice lightly orange hued foam that never quite left. The nose was light with pine and floral hops and caramel. Nice but bigger would have been better. I get a powdery feel which is rare for an IPA. There are citrus, pine, and floral hop notes. That caramel, too. This is generally understated and quite pleasant. The hops didn’t taste real fresh so this bottle might have a bit of age on it. I like it GJF (1520) - Mount Vernon, Iowa, USA - JUN 28, 2011
On tap at the brewery. Not as good as their Hop Diggedy IPA. Generally sweet, a slightly sour finish.
