2010-06-29. Dark yellow body with a nice foamy white head that fades. 3+ Mild aroma, modest hops, touch of citrus/floral notes. 6+ Flavour is milder than expected, but has a good amount of hops, grassy and mild citrus notes, moderate bitterness throughout, and a kiss of astringency in the finish. 7+ Average plus palate is just a touch lighter bodied than my preference. Decent, but suffers in comparison to the excellent Imperial IPA. On tap at the brewery, Port Townsend mabel (9245) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUL 15, 2010
[3033-20100629] Tap. Mild pencil lead aroma has a little doughy bread grains. Clear, medium orange brown body with a long-lasting creamy off-white head. Malty bread grains flavour has lots of thick evergreen-twinged orange hops. Medium body is bitter. Fresh and drinkable.

22 ounce bottle courtesy of RiversideAK rated 4/25/10. Thanks! Pours a clear golden color with a large frothy head. Good head retention and lacing. The aroma is citrus hops with a bit of caramel. The taste is citrus and herbal hops with caramel. Medium bodied. Well balanced straightforward IPA, just the way I like them. HonkeyBra (4044) - Lemont, Illinois, USA - JUN 29, 2010
The guy at bottleworks recommended this bomber to me. Dull, golden pour with thin white head. Nice, dank hop aroma with some pine, some resiny hops, and biscuit and cookie dough malts. Flavor is very dry, resiny, piney. How I enjoy my IPAs. The malts are subdued, but the nice biscuit/ cookie dough thing going on here is excellent. Mouthfeel is average, good carbonation. Really good IPA. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 14, 2010

Aroma is sweet lemon candy with mint leaves and some orange. Flavor is very mild grapefruit with pepper and that darn lemon candy. The finish is bitter with some sweet lemon candy and parsley. This is a pretty nice beer. Not my fav but nice nonetheless. I would drink again. Thanks to TroyNYC for the goods! TroyNYC (31) - New York, New York, USA - APR 17, 2010
