Bottle from Safeway, Port Angeles; nose of grainy caramel, a little piney hoppiness with a yeasty note; orange-amber with a big beige head that laces the glass; flavor has caramel malt, hop bitterness, and some citrus; a little hops in the finish. Pretty good amber. carruthm (1401) - Seattle, Washington, USA - AUG 2, 2008

clear amber color with little head. hoppy malt and vanilla aroma with a creamy malt and caramel touch taste. crisp palate while still being creamy and well rounded.
Amber, off white head. Caramel and hoppiness in the aroma with some floral notes. Fairly hoppy, lemon zest, floral, some caramel. Pretty good Amber. scrizzz (2223) - Bothell, Washington, USA - SEP 24, 2007
fairly aggressive pour yielded a respectable 1 1/2" head that quickly fell to a wispy film that sticks to the sides of the glass. Some sediment in the bottle and glass. Faint sweet aroma, balanced hop scent. Good balance in flavor between the initial sweetness and the floral bitter finish. Most ambers have little hop finish, this one is very nice. riversideAK (6261) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - FEB 29, 2008
Tap at Brouwers. Dark amber color with a nice head. Aroma is dark toast. Flavor is dark and toasty with nutty aspects with a pleasant mild NW hop finish. A better than average amber ale and highly drinkable.

Bottle: Copper color, light white head and lacing. Nose of caramel and cream, some light earthy hops. The flavor is malty, decent body with a blah flavor. Nutty and caramelly but nothing to really snap or round out the end. Finishes clean. Ok. monk191 (1977) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUN 27, 2013
