Draft pour pint at Hop and Hound. Missed this one during my visit to the brewery a while back. Glad it made it's way over here. Midnight pour with a ton of thick tan foam head. Toasty, metallic, chocolate forward aroma. Flavor is really the seller in this. Delicious stout full of roasted malt, coffee roast, semi sweet caramel and cream, and milk chocolate. A dessert beer, without being too sweet. A morning time beer, id say, with all the coffee and chocolate that come through. A flavorful dry stout here. Very impressed with this. ajnepple (7529) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JAN 18, 2017
22 oz bottle shared. Black appearance with a tan head. Aroma of chocolate malt, coffee and roasted grain. Similar flavor, with a medium body, a smooth creamy feel and a dry, bittersweet finish. Pretty straight up stout overall. Solid. luttonm (7060) - Seattle, Washington, USA - FEB 11, 2016
Draft at PT Taproom. Ruby-tinged dark brown with pretty, clean-thick tan foam. Guinness character. Creamy roast aroma, a bit of alc bite and smooth creamy roast body. Cool cocoa, a little coffee roast. Delicious. Prufrockstar (2132) - Moscow, Idaho, USA - SEP 24, 2015
Draft at Central Cinema in July. Classic nitro pour: creamy dense khaki head that takes its time to settle. Smooth chocolate, sweetened with caramel. Gentle roast, creamy smooth texture. Overall: this is a pleasant surprise -- this is darned good. No idea if it’s changed over the years or if I just got lucky, but this was way better than the average would suggest. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 24, 2015
Nitro. Medium beige head atop red-black body. Aroma is moderately sweet, coffee, roast, some bittersweet chocolate, light oat. Taste is moderately sweet, milk chocolate, some roast, coffee, light earthy. Creamy light-medium body.

Draft - Dark roast and molasses. Jet black with a rich light brown head. Dark roast and a light sweetness. Pretty basic. JohnnyJ (5572) - San Diego, California, USA - DEC 27, 2014
On nitro at the brewery. Dark brown pour, with a light tan nitro head. Roasted malt, light chocolate, mild bitterness, and toast. Watery, not bad, but not interesting. mcberko (20253) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 22, 2014
On tap at Port Townsend, pours a deep dark mahogany with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out notes of chocolate, cocoa nibs and a little roast. Flavour is very light for a 6.6% stout, with notes of roast and cocoa. Smooth and creamy on the palate. Very drinkable but not overly thrilling. Decent stout. maxwelldeux (4433) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - SEP 1, 2014
Bottle. Pours a very dark brown color with a slightly thick light brown head on there. Nose is roasty with just a hint of chocolate and sour in there. Taste is a tad sweet and quite roasty, and not as dry as i would have guessed. OK. suprchunk (2994) - EffOff, Florida, USA - MAR 16, 2014
Black pour. Big tan head. Plenty of lacing. Smells of licorice and malt. Taste is...unexpected. Very sour. I’m guessing it wasn’t intentional as it tastes like Madrugada Obscura - a sour stout. After that there is notes of coffee, but I really can’t get past how sour this is. Not intentional at all, but not bad. Sadly it isn’t supposed to be a sour stout at all.
