(Draught at The Beer Junction) black, on nitro, creamy tan head. Nose of raisin, rich chocolate, dark fruit, cream, brown sugar, cola, very complex. Taste of raisin, milk chocolate, cream, honey, rum, and brown sugar. Really flavorful for 6.6% ABV (what was listed when I drank it). Awesome dry stout, maybe the best I’ve had. shigadeyo (3820) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 2, 2013

8/18/2011: Port Townsend Stout... Aroma: Semi-sweet chocolate; suggestions of roasted malt and coffee beans. Appearance: Deep brown color with a ruby shine, mostly opaque in the glass; foamy, tan-colored head. Flavor: Moderately roasty; more milky chocolate; molasses and caramel. Palate: Medium-full body; smooth and creamy mouth feel. Overall: This is a really smooth stout that good and has even more potential with a little more tweaking; this would be a fantasic "sweet stout" (or the way I think a milk stout should be done)...

Nitro pour. Stunning black core with a thick tan head. The nose shows blue fruit and roasted nuts. Soft pillowy mouthfeel with light mocha and a milky texture. reebtogi (6403) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - DEC 18, 2011
650ml bottle pours black in color with a small off-white head and little lacing on the glass. Aroma is light roasted malts and chocolate. Taste is roasted malty bitterness with some chocolate malty sweetness and a mild hoppy bitterness. Light to medium body and light carbonation. A little thin in body for a stout and detracts from the score. Otherwise, this is not a bad stout and was refreshing and easy to drink. Ratman197 (15628) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - NOV 16, 2011
Bomber shared by Irishboy (thanks Richard) poured a clear dark reddish brown with a lingering ring of tan foam. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Palate was lighty to medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolatew and light vanilla with a crisp dry lingering roasty finish. hayduke (5731) - Eureka, California, USA - SEP 13, 2011
Shared with Strykzone via Facebook Chat. Poured a dark brown with a good sized tan head. Nose of roasted malts and chocolate. Medium body and a carbonated mouthfeel. Flavor is dominated by the chocolate but there is some burnt malts and a touch of fruit. Dry and slightly biter finish. Quite good and I enjoyed every drop. 22 oz. bottle from Hayduke. We shared it via facebook chat. This poured a very dark brown with a tan head that did not last long. The nose was like a milk stout but my bottle was quite cold. There was some chocolate. The flavor was some nice chocolate and it was kind of like what a soda jerk would pour. Some nuts were tasted and it was a bit syrupy. There was a bit of zing on the tip of my tongue.
