3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
A very surprising beer. At first blush, it has a very flowery taste, almost too much, but after it warms up a bit, it definitely grows upon you. Nice dark amber look. Could use a slight bit more hoppiness, but it’s enough to keep the taste buds happy. Nice body - a very mouthy feel. Sampled in 22 oz. bottle, but can guess it would be better in the sampling room.
Draft at PT Taproom. Amber-gold, small foam. Soapy aroma, butterscotch. Creamy sip, good alc warmth. Warm and fruity. Mulled wine hints. Amber malt, a little metallic. Alright. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - AUG 24, 2015

Draft - Rich caramel notes. Clearish copper with a rich beige head. Sweet caramel with a bit of hop bitterness. Not bad. JohnnyJ (5569) - San Diego, California, USA - FEB 10, 2015
On draft at the brewery. Dark amber pour, with an off white head. Bready, caramel, herbal spiciness, and fairly sweet. Uninteresting and not that good. mcberko (19173) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 22, 2014
On tap at Port Townsend, pours an opaque dark amber with a small white head. Aroma brings out light Christmas spices and bready caramel malts. Flavour is very earthy and spicy, with notes of feet. This isn’t very pleasant to me. Too much feet in this.

Cloudy dark amber color with small creamy head. Aroma of caramel, a bit cheesy. Sweetish and smooth mouthfeel, strong caramel flavor with a nutty accent, light Parmigiano Reggiano impression, some roasted nuts in the final. Strong bitterness.
Old tasting (it’s about 1 years old), and not impressive anyway.
22 fl oz bottle. Cloudy orange with a small off white head. Aroma is thick maæty, caramelish and light breadish. Wooden, breadish. Dry and herbal. Toasted malty, bitter, herbal and dry. Bitter and bone dry finish. anders37 (27237) - Malmö, SWEDEN - FEB 10, 2014
Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy caramel aroma with weak hoppy hints. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy bitter flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel spicy bitter finish. CampesinoTino (800) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 5, 2011
Bomber. Pours a coppery amber color with a small amount of sudsy off-white head. In the nose, there’s hints of brown sugar, raisins, figs and cinnamon bread. The flavor starts out with lots of caramel, toffee, butterscotch and dried apricot notes supported by a toasted malt backbone. Just a tiny bit of a sweet citrus hops presence in the background. The body is adequately carbonated with a dry, sugary finish. In the end, it’s a little too sweet and one-dimensional. philbertk (1873) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 14, 2010
