Poured from an 11.2 OZ bottle into a pint glass. The appearance is an amber color with a small off-white head. The aroma is made up of toffee, hops and sweet fruit with a strong alcohol smell. The taste is mostly hops and sweet malt. A really good English Strong Ale.

50 cl. bottle. Low but lasting fluffy light brown head. Clear dark amber body. Acidic to sour fruity lemon aroma and flavor with a good deal of hops bitterness, low carbonation and a long bitter finish. ciocanelu (2855) - Timisoara, ROMANIA - JAN 4, 2016
Clear mahogany color with beige head. Aroma is malty with dark sugar and caramel notes. Taste is bittersweet and roasty. Body is quite light and fizzy. Not bad but there’s not much going on. TheKernOwl (215) - West Sussex, ENGLAND - DEC 29, 2015
Rich toffee/mince pie/caramel nose. Big sweet/caramel malts with slight bitter finish. Nicely flavoured, nicely balanced. Tastes stronger than 6.5%! Ratto (132) - - DEC 12, 2015
Bottle bbe19-04-16. Pours clear dark copper, head dissapears fast. Aroma sweet dried fruits, alcohol when cold. Taste sweet caramel with spicy and piney bitterness. Should be served quite warm otherwise the sweetness does not balance the hops and alcohol.

Aroma is roasted malts, caramel, raisins and toffee. Taste is an almost chewy mouthfeel with rich sweet malts and caramel. A moderate bitterness rounds out the palette nicely. Very slight flatness on finish. Appearance is a clear amber with a thin pearl head that retains fairly well. SinH4 (6124) - Garching b. M?nchen, GERMANY - OCT 23, 2015
Plums, sweet caramel. Taste is intensely sweetish-fruity, with a heavy bitter touch, feels boozy. Only 6.5ABV? incredible. A real taste explosion. Crazy stuff, but maybe someone appreciates it. motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - OCT 1, 2015

Keg in the Porterhouse Temple Bar, Dublin. Amber with a thin off white head. Not too much aroma. The taste is mild spice and bitter citrus with toasty malt undertones. Quote tasty. altonbrownd (5897) - Chevy Chase, Maryland, USA - AUG 23, 2015
