Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15B). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown (BBF 15.10.17). AROMA: medium roasted aroma with coffee and chocolate notes. slight nutiness and fruitiness (dried grapes) with a slight sweetness. APPEARANCE: dark brown to black color with ruby highlights. Medium moussy light brown head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with medium roasted notes (coffee and slight dark chocolate). medium bitterness with an almost dry and roasted/bitter finish. PALATE: medium-light body with medium-low carbonation. no astringency. OVERALL: a good stout but NOT imperial (and with a bit more alcohol for the irish stout style).

On draught. Smells of coffee and highly roasted malts no booziness and a little cacoa. Roasted coffee chocolate and a little burnt finish. Dry toward the end. Well round

Bottle. BCA; but no sediment - Opaque Black in colour. Very Malty; roasty/burnt malts, espresso coffee, dark chocolate, some liquorice, toffee. Rather tarry and ashy. Fruity; dark fruits, raisins. Hoppy; earthy hops. Very very dry roasty and quite bitter hoppy throughout; salty finish. Tasty. Nice Dry Stout! (2011-06-21)

From elcervecero. In Teku glass. Playing Magic 2015. Low ABV but still full of taste and aroma. Great balance between roastyness, sweetness and bitterness with some spicyness too. At the end of the glass yeast seem to concentrate spoiling the last 2 sips though
