Bottled. Black colour with a tan head, good persistence and lacing. Aroma is roasty, coffee and smoky. Flavor is similar as aroma with a slight bitterness in the final. Flat carbonation with a medium to high body. Filipbeer (163) - - JAN 6, 2013
Cerveza stout de Navidad. Aromas a café/chocolate. Matices de aromas afrutados (frutas negras). En boca presenta cuerpo medio. Se vuelven a notar aromas a cafe/tostados y crema. Entrada dulce que deja paso al amargor. Equilibrada con postgusto seco y medio-largo.

UPDATED: NOV 23, 2014 Pour is brown black with a fizzy tan head that quickly disappears. Roasted malt, toffee, irish whiskey, oak and coffee in the aroma. Mouthfeel is slick, with a hint of carbonation in the body. Quite a heavy body. More warming Irish whiskey in the flavour, liquorice, with some background burnt malt which works very well. Finish is long and lush, with lots of lovely warming alcohol. Stunning. Dogbrick (13777) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Bottle at Porterhouse Central. The beer pours a flat black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily. Strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and a bit of dark fruit. Medium body with flavors of sweet malt, espresso and a touch of anise. The finish is roasty with a coffee and berry aftertaste. Above average overall.

330mL bottle, pours black with a medium beige head. Aroma of bittersweet dark chocolate, light roast, and some feint butterscotch. Flavour of toffee / butterscotch, some dry roasted malt and bitter cocoa powder. Certainly not an impie, at least by North American standards, with a fairly restrained and a bit watery body. Quite a bitter finish, likely from the roast, which is quite harsh toward the end. All in all, a pretty boring stout. Gerbeer (4020) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - OCT 25, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours black with medium head. Aromas of dates, tar, and cardboard. Flavors of chocolate powder, biscuits, slightly sour dark fruit, and burnt coffee. Dry. Imperial stout? I don’t know, but quite nice. SSSteve (4006) - - OCT 24, 2012

Bottled (From Beers Of Europe). Pitch black colour, small brown head. Aroma is tar, some liquorice, alcohol, mild nutty notes as well as some syrup. Flavour is quite similar, with a slight alcohol burn in the finish. Also some quite spicy notes. kiwianer (3428) - Otorohanga, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 20, 2012
The head is medium-robust, the color brown, the body black. It smells sweet-CO², sweet-chocolate, roastmalty. The taste is coffee, roasty, a bit bitter chocolate with chili, roasty-very nice. Full bodied and very nice! 12/12/12/13/13/13
