Holmen1 (6310) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2012

Bottled. Pitch Black coloured. Dense light Brown head. Aroma: roast, Liqourice, light tar! Vague smoke and vague coffee. Flavour: roast, smoke, chocolate, tar, coffee and then some. Medium bodied. Ends heavy roasted bitter.

stravale (3088) - Co. Westmeath, IRELAND - SEP 5, 2012
Bottle from Beers of Europe
Black, big tan frothy head, good lacing
Aroma of dark malts, lots of soft roasted malts, bit of spiciness, touch of dark sugars, not a big aroma
Taste - Rich dark dryish malts, soft smoke, soft roasted malts, some unusual roasted malt in there (maybe the yeast), coffee, touch of bitter plain chocolate, hint of treacle, quite simple but good clean flavour
Palate - Medium carb and body, oily palate. Finish - dry, roasted malts, bitter and a bit tangy linger
Overall - Interesting stout, rather dry and has a slight tang on the finish. There is a spicyness in there too. Not amazing but pretty solid

beerisgoodforu (992) - Nørresundby, DENMARK - AUG 20, 2012
Bottle. Pours an almost pitch black color with a tan head. Aroma is of roasted malt, coffee, ashy and burnt notes, liquorice and tar. The flavor follows the nose and is fairly roasty and burnt, I get the ashy and tar notes, coffee and liquorice. The body is medium with a dry mouth feel. Overall a solid Imperial Stout, but nothing special.

NikkTwist (3306) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2012
Draft at Farmers Cabinet. Opaque black with a tight brown head. Lace. Dark clear coffee. Cocoa beans. Burnt toast. Charcoal. Hint of sweetness but overall quite bitter. Medium light body. Very dark and clean.

12,12,11,12,12,12 - 11,85 - 12/

Miksu (5053) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - JUL 9, 2012
0.33 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Almost black dark reddish brown color. Vinous raisiny and coffeish aroma with raspberry. Roasty and burnt flavor with coffee and burnt raspberry. Dry roasty and bitter finish. Good vinous stout, a bit acrid but it does not bother in small quantities.

Beermack (725) - London, Bedfordshire, ENGLAND - JUL 1, 2012
33cl bottle. Pours jet black with bubbly tan head - heavy lacing. Aroma is heavily roasted malt, dark roasted coffee beans, cacao, slight booze note. Taste is primarily deep roasted malt, bitter coffee, slight dark fruit notes. Full mouthfeel, but slightly coarse. Aftertaste is roasted, bitter, and very dry. One of the Porterhouse's best offerings.

Adenila (1560) - DENMARK - JUN 24, 2012
Bottle from Super Best. It poors black and oily with a medium foamy brown head, disappearing fast. Powerfull roasted aroma, chocolate malt, sleight fruity alchohol, nice. Very bitter roasted flavor, dry ashyness, hop bitterness aswell. Not too complex, but quite a bitterbomb.

fiulijn (21019) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2012
Draught at The Wharf, Aalborg, as Porterhouse Anglo-Irish Imperial Stout
Black color with brown head. Mild aroma of roasted malt and some cardboard, light cheese. Medium body structure, big roasted malt flavor, ashes, some dark chocolate, salty, with strong bitterness. Maybe too aggressive on the roasty side.
