Bottle courtesy of ACD, cheers Alex! Pours deep maple to purple with minimal off-white head. Roasty caramel vanilla aroma with heavy bourbon. Caramelly and smooth with rich whiskey througohut, nice warming finish, excellent BA impy stout, glad I got to try it!

Bottle at home - shared with Mette. Pitch black - offwhite head. Whiskey, smokey, light wooden, light boody, oiley texture, fruity, licorice, dried fruits, nice burned malts, chocolate, light coffee. Nice - a bit too boozy.

03-JUN-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish @ Beer", thx Minitøser. Black with lasting creamy brown head. Roasted with chocolate. Loads of bourbon, vanilla, oak, soy. Full but not really as imperial as some but just makes it more drinkable. Sweet, long roasted finish. Fantastic stout.

Bottle sample at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. Thanks beerandbeyond. Very dark brown to black. Aroma of roastiness, notes of chocolate, coffee hints, whiskey, alcohol and some fruity notes. Sweet flavor of chocolate, whiskey, a bit of coffee and alcohol. Medium to full-bodied. Decent.

33 cl bottle @ hotel room, copenhagen
Vertical with basic (2010) version
Flavour is quite different from the basic version with vanilla and bourbon notes. And hints of cocoa. Flavour has lots of vanilla, some bourbon notes and hints of coffee. Warming alcohol in the finish. Much better than the basic version.
