Pours a black colour with an off-white head. Aroma of bourbon, cream and roasted malts. Flavour of smooth roasted malts, bourbon, oak and some vanilla. Full bodied, oily mouthfeel and a rich roasty finish with some burning bourbon and oak. A lot better than the non-BA version.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with an off-white head. Aroma is superb. Vanilla notes from the wood which unlocked a smell memory of full-bodied red wine. Taste is fruits of the forest, burnt toast and ever-present alcohol. Lightly bitter finish. Some coffee and chocolate in there. Very nice.

Flaske: Brunsort øl med et brunligt skumhoved. Duft af aske og meget brændte malte. Umiddelbart tænker man absolut ingen fadlagring. Tilgengæld er smagen dejlig overraskende. Masser af vanilie lægger sig ovenpå de brændte malte og gør det til en fornøjelse at drikke. Bare synd at duften og udseendet ikke er fantastisk.
