I love a great stout and I love Irish whiskey. This beer is a perfect marriage. Hardly any bitter of the stout but contains a great balance of sweet taste. Had this from bottle right after drinking the Regular Celebration stout at Delirium cafe in Brussels. Awesome.

33 cl. bottle @ Delirium Hoppy Loft. Thx! Black with a mocha / beige head. Nose is huge vanilla from the wood, molasses, sweet mocha, chocolate & caramel, quite unbalanced but nice. Taste is light whiskey, this makes me think more of bourbon honnestly than Irish whiskey with the big vanilla wood notes, sweet with some hars barrel, wood, mocha, caramel, chocolate, coffee, sweet brown sugar & touch molasses. Less carb. witch fits nicely. This is very unbalanced sadly but brings a lot of fun, with more balance this could become a true heavy hitter.

03-JUN-2012, bottle @home, from "Fish @ Beer", thx Minitøser. Black with lasting creamy brown head. Roasted with chocolate. Loads of bourbon, vanilla, oak, soy. Full but not really as imperial as some but just makes it more drinkable. Sweet, long roasted finish. Fantastic stout.

Shared bottle at local tasting, as Porter House Barrel Aged Collection Celebration Stout, Limited Edition. ABV is 11%. Pitch black colour, thick brown head. Oaky and vinous aroma, notes of vanilla and Irish whiskey. Strong oaky, vanilla and whiskey flavour, some chocolate too. Excellent beer.
