Dark black stout, with a nice layer of rough almond foam. Unbelievable. The beer smels like chocolate indeed. A sweet chocolate smell arises from the beer. The taste is also of stout accompanied by a clearly distinguishable chocolate aroma. In the finish you taste some fresh hops. The mout sensation is no different than of an other stout. A really great brew, get it if you can. KM (418) - Tromsø, NORWAY - MAR 22, 2007
Tap. Very nice black body with some beautiful dark red colouring. Creamy head. Fantastic aroma with dark sweet chocolate. Excellent. Amazing flavour of dark sweet chocolate and mocha. Not only does it taste chocolate, it tastes like a very good chocolate. Wonderfully balanced flavour. It is amazing how well this heavy chocolate taste goes together with the rest of the beer. A lasting finish which keeps the best of the flavours intact and ends with a characteristic bitterness. (Porterhouse Dublin, 17.03.07) LordCorkscrew (1774) - Ronco Scrivia (GE), ITALY - MAR 16, 2008

Expected to be too sweet, but pleasantly surprised. Chocolately on the nose, bold but not bitter aftertaste. Almost like an alcoholic "affogato"! Wouldn’t drink it all night, but great for one or two.

Draught at Porterhouse Cork. Pours a chocolate-brown/black with an inch cream head. Aroma of milk chocolate, sweet coffee and toffee. Very light cocoa bitterness followed by a strong chocolate sweetness. Very sweet finish, smooth, creamy and thick-bodied. An outstanding desert stout, just perfect. scored in Porter House Temple Bar. Delicious, smooth, highly chocolatey brew, slight roastiness comes through towards the end, several pints of this made for a good night Daithi8640862 (24) - Dublin, IRELAND - MAR 10, 2008
Very pronounced chocolate aroma when poured. A lovely smooth stout with a strong sweet chocolate taste on the palate. A great stout that you can drink all day long.
