Banana and wheat are both strong and well-balanced with accents of clove spiciness and some hints of vanilla and coconut in the aroma. Opaque yellow body is topped by a decent and lasting, bright white head. Overly sweet banana flavour with plenty of slightly sour wheat character and surprisingly stron bitterness in the finish. Spiciness emerges in the aftertaste and lingers on the tongue. Crisp, light body with strong, lively carbonation. Seemingly very well made but not so much to my taste. Sampled on tap at the brewpub in Temple Bar (May-06). Ungstrup (38423) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - SEP 16, 2006
Draft at the London location. At the bar, this was listed at 5.0%. An unclear orange beer with a thin lazing white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of bananas and wheat. The flavor is sweet and artificially candy like with notes of orange, banana, and bubblegum. Too sweet - and too artificial in its impression. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 20, 2006
Draught - Porterhouse, London. A hazy yellow-brown coloured beer with a slight off white head. The aroma is full on bubblegum with not much else in the way of estery notes. The taste has some bruised banana and is quite phenolic. Quite a lot going on for a hefe. Decent. Dickinsonbeer (5073) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 29, 2006
Thier wheat beer was actually pretty nice. Pours a perfect hazy gold with a nice fluffy lasting white head, some lacing. Aroma is lemony (an dnot jsut cuz they thew a lemon in there) yeasty, banana and lots of phenols like clove and vanilla. Flavor is wheaty, citrus, lemon zest, and slightly tart in the end. Nice full body and mouthfeel though. TBone (18228) - Pori, FINLAND - JUL 29, 2006

Hazy orange-yellow, creamy white head. Loads of bubblegum and banana in the nose. Loads of bubblegum and wine gums in the flavor. Lemony aftertaste.
20/05/06 Porterhouse Central Dublin. Muddy looking pale straw body with very little head. Strong cloves on initial taste then bubble gum, zesty and mushy banana. Good. Jukkabro (3484) - Tampere, FINLAND - MAY 15, 2006
Light yellow colored, little vanishing white head. Fine banana and fenols with some sweetness, rich and good aroma. Thin to medium bodied. Flavor is even better than aroma: banana, sweetness, spices and yeast come up, aftertaste is crispy with with lasting banana and spices. Fine weisse! jefcon (1935) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - MAR 24, 2006
A shifty brew: light, clean and amber, but with rich yeast aromas and a champagne-size bubble. Citrus, banana and some charcoal on the taste. Bright, short palate. Different take on a hefe breaking the mold. Probably too minerally for many. UnsofistaCat (241) - Garden City, Michigan, USA - FEB 28, 2006
Big time banana but not really hazy. I also thought there was an artificial element to this one, although I know they use all natural ingredients. JonMoore (2067) - Loughborough, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 16, 2005
Draught at the Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Looked like a wheat beer I suppose, but had a very artificial feel to it. Some citrus flavours, thin bodied and boring.
