UPDATED: MAR 28, 2013 Clear amber, frothy white head. Caramel malt, resin, pine hop nose. Bitter hop middle, hint of caramel. More bitterness in the finish. Little unbalanced for my taste, way too bitter with no malt character to balance it out. Dogbrick (13036) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 30, 2012
Sample from cask at Porterhouse Central. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a medium thin creamy white head that recedes slowly. Short strings of lacing. Aroma of caramel malt and citrus. Light body with flavors of citrusy hops and sweet malt. The finish is malty up front with a fruity hops aftertaste. Decent overall. k0mpsa (2974) - Tuusula, FINLAND - NOV 30, 2012

Clear amber beer, frothy white head. Softish palate. Mildly tangy orange. Splash of tea and then a sweet piney orange finish. All over the place but very drinkable and strangely endearing!
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange. Fruity malt aroma. Slight bitterness. Taste is full and a good balance of biscuity malt and bitterness. Gerbeer (3758) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - NOV 7, 2012
330 ml bottle. Pours a clear orange/brown with very little head. Aromas malt and grapefruit, heavier on the malt. Similar flavors with a bit of caramel and pine. Nice bitter finish. Hoppy for a European brew, which also makes it nice compared to some of the hop overloads in North America. Tasty. Holmen1 (5914) - Stavanger, NORWAY - OCT 3, 2012
Flaske på Cardinal: 4 sorter malt og Pilgrim, Nugget, Cascade og Cenmtennial iflg etiketten. Skarp, bitter ettersmak men ellers a bit forgettable Gethinbeer (2452) - Nova Scotia, CANADA - SEP 30, 2012
Very pleasant hop aroma of fruit and wine gums. Copper colour with a frothy white aroma. Thin texture , yet still very nice. Just expected more from experiencing the initial aroma. Cross between a traditional British style IPA with the aroma of an American version. One of the best IPA?s ive sampled from that side of the pond and definitely in Ireland.
