COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

Frisch vom Hahn im Brewpub. Sehr gute Röstaromen. Feinste Stoutkrone, die ich je hatte. Da gehört Guiness in den Ausguss.

UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Draft @ Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Black with shades of brown and a lovely beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma plus a hint of smoke and something umami which I'm lead to believe is the work of the oyster. Creamy. Low to medium carbonation. Very balanced and delicious. Would love to be able to have this one on a regular basis.

Keg at Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Vague malty roasry aroma. Jet black. Thick creamy head. Low key aroma, lightest bitter, some aroma, but almost tasteless. Over chilled? Thick bodied. Creamy. Flat. Abrupt aka no finish. Could down it in one. Pleasemt by virtue of being undetectable.

Dark brown beer with a thin beige head. Nose of roasted coffee, cocoa, and salt, but it’s pretty faint. Flavor is fairly dry with dark roasted grain, unsweetened bitter chocolate, and something maritime finished with a medium bitterness. Pretty good.

1 pint at the brewpub, Dublin. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Appearance is just black with a fine white foam. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Dry. Great.
