Frisch vom Hahn im Brewpub. Sehr gute Röstaromen. Feinste Stoutkrone, die ich je hatte. Da gehört Guiness in den Ausguss. Grumpelmies (364) - GERMANY - NOV 11, 2017
UPDATED: NOV 11, 2017 Draft @ Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Black with shades of brown and a lovely beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma plus a hint of smoke and something umami which I'm lead to believe is the work of the oyster. Creamy. Low to medium carbonation. Very balanced and delicious. Would love to be able to have this one on a regular basis. danhill (11) - - OCT 21, 2017

Color negro corona de espuma beige, aromas tostados ligeros, sabor tostado con notas a regaliz ligeramente salada, cuerpo medio.
Keg at Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Vague malty roasry aroma. Jet black. Thick creamy head. Low key aroma, lightest bitter, some aroma, but almost tasteless. Over chilled? Thick bodied. Creamy. Flat. Abrupt aka no finish. Could down it in one. Pleasemt by virtue of being undetectable. ehaak26 (710) - - AUG 7, 2017
Bottle from Beer of the Month. Aroma of roasted malt and subtle hops. Taste is sweet with some sea salt. floydslip (422) - Washington DC, USA - JUL 30, 2017
Dark brown beer with a thin beige head. Nose of roasted coffee, cocoa, and salt, but it’s pretty faint. Flavor is fairly dry with dark roasted grain, unsweetened bitter chocolate, and something maritime finished with a medium bitterness. Pretty good. fdomig (1028) - München, GERMANY - JUL 21, 2017
1 pint at the brewpub, Dublin. Aroma is coffee and chocolate. Appearance is just black with a fine white foam. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Dry. Great.
