Draught @ Porterhouse, WC2 London.
Black color with a small creamy long lastng head. Aroma is hoppy, roadsted malty, and it has a unique aroma and taste, possibly because of the Oysters (saltwater). Flavor is also salty with roasted malt and a bitter dry hoppy finish. A little thin but still quite smooth.

[Draft at Porterhouse, London] A pitch black beer with a firm creamy lasting chocolate brown head. The aroma is very lightly malty. The flavor starts of roasted, but thin for a stout, then comes flavors of caramel, before a slight salty (yes, salty - a first for me) end sets in. joergen (28148) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - JUL 31, 2009

Black and creamy appearance. Spicy coffeea roma. Dry, bitter and smooth.
On tap. Dark brown - close to black - with a reddish hue and a dense, lacing and creamy beige head with good retention. The nose is surprisingly subdued, perhaps a little roast and a vague whiff of butter. Light body, low carbonation, soft mouthfeel, hard roasted malts and a vague spicy touch - from the oysters? Fairly bitter finish - from both hops and malts. 281110 Travlr (24826) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - AUG 4, 2010
