Brewed with fresh oyster. A smooth drinking aromatic stout with a discernible but unidentifiable aromatic aspect. Not suitable for vegetarians. This gently flavored stout has a roast malt character, full body and an aromatic character from the Goldings hops. Fresh oysters added during the brewing process, lend a discernible yet unidentifiable note.

A dark brown, slightly opaque body with a tan head that had some nice retention and nice lace. Aroma had some nice roasted malts, some sweetness to it almost like a milk stout. There a nice mineral quality which I guess was the oysters. Flavor seemed to have a little more sweetness then I expected. There was still nice roasted malts and some coffee like flavors, but it was mostly sweet. I did not taste the mineral quality that I got in the aroma. Finish was slightly dry. Carbonation seemed slightly high.

I bought this bottle at Beerlovers in Vienna. I drank it with Fred in Lausanne. In my point of view, it is a nice stout, average, easy to drink for the beginners. The color is a nice deep black body, low carbonation for the style but it is normal, thin foam. The taste is overall dry, some oysters notes but it is not that strong that others oatmeal stout, roasted, malt, hop, a bit watery and dry finish.

Bottle. Good foam. Not dark enough for a stout. Very nice taste. A little mettalic in the aftertaste. An ok stout.

Black. Roasted barley, caramel malt and liquorice in the aroma. Roasted malty flavour, with some spice and a speciel note which I assume comes from the oysters. Light sweetness and a bitter and roasted finish. Medium body. Overall, a decent stout, but nothing more than that. The taste is a bit odd.
