(draught) deep ruby colour with a creamy beige head. aroma of tennis shoes, sweatsocks and roasted malts, with a touch of oatmeal, some earth and salty pretzels. flavour is mostly roasted grain and earth, with a faint yeastiness, some sugar icing and a lingering roasted-bitter finish. medium-bodied with soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours a jet black with a thin beige head. Aroma: roasted malt, bitter cocoa, coffee beans, syrup notes. Taste: roasted malt, mild bitter coffee, toasted grain, earthy flavours. Thin to medium bodied. Mild carbonation. Moderate bitterness that ligers on the palate Ashy flavour balance. This was quite decent. Easy to drink but not particularly interesting or tasty.

Mörkt mahognyfärgad öl med beige skum. Doft och smak av malt, lätt rostning och lätta chokladtoner. Ganska tunn kropp.

I don't have strong feelings about this either way. It's a pleasant, light, easy drinking stout. Not too malty, lightly roasted and bitter taste but without much of an aftertaste which means you will probably get through a bottle of this quite quickly.

Keg @ Ramble + Rose, Hebden Bridge. Black with a thick creamy-frothy head and mild roasted malts in both aroma and taste. It's an inoffensive dark session ale.

Plus léger qu'une stout, goût raffiné, aux notes de café et pain. Vraiment délicieux

Koelschtrinker (22708) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - DEC 12, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 13, 2017 Trocken malziger Beginn. Noten von Pfefferminz, süß-röstig, etwas trocken. Die Kräuternoten nehmen zu, süffig, langer trockener Nachhall. Okay. 10/9/10/9//10

05-9-17 // draft at Dingle Whiskey Bar in Dublin, Ireland. Black beer with a creamy beige head. Roasted malts, mild sweetness, dry, and with a mild bitter finish.

Michael27 (2439) - Berlin, GERMANY - NOV 15, 2017
Frisch vom Hahn im Brewpub. Schwarz wie die Nacht mit sehr cremiger Schaumkrone. Aromen von Röstmalzen und Schokolade. Nicht so süß, wie das Stout.

Grumpelmies (445) - GERMANY - NOV 12, 2017
Draft @ Porterhouse, Temple Bar. Pitch black with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, some coffee and dark chocolate. Taste follows aroma plus a little bit of hops. Finish is a little bit dry. Velvety smooth mouthfeel. Medium carbonation. It's just a plain Porter but a very delicious one
