Pints from tap at the brewpub in London. Pours a gorgeous black with a slightly off white head 2cm high; tiny bubbled, thick creamy nitrous head with the best retention I’ve ever seen on anything by a mile. I was so in love with the look and head of the beer that i didn’t immediately pick up on the unremarkable aroma and taste. The beer drinks quite one dimensional with only coffee notes and no complexity of roast or chocolate one may like. I’d session it for the look and palate alone
