Pours dark with fairly long lasting head. Strong malt character with taste of coffee and ash. Medium bitterness. The name says it all, so you get what you buy. Fairly good one though! undercurrent25 (2142) - Barnton, Cheshire, ENGLAND - JAN 9, 2016

Vienna Craft Beer Fest 2015. Aroma is toffee, roasted malt, chocolate, cacao. Very dark brown color with a brown, creamy head. Flavor is full of malt, chocolate, nuts Pedro_Pinho (242) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - DEC 31, 2015
Nice malty aroma on this nearly black liquid. Smooth taste, I would prefer some more chocolate on this. Rather good brew with a suitable name, plain porter! jjsint (3110) - Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2015
Keg tap at the Porterhouse, Covent Garden. Dark brown, translucent, with a Guinnessy beige head. Roasted coffee, hazelnut, malt and nougat candy on the aroma. Bittersweet nutty taste with a strong hoppy bitter finish which stops just short of too much astringency. Espresso and black cherry in the aftertaste. Smooth palate. Too cold, but if you let it warm up a bit it allows the flavours to shine through. A decent keg porter.

Pint pour from keg at brewpub in London. Dark and opaque. Great lacing; amazing creamy. Exactly what you hope in a nitro beer. Baking chocolate on the nose, with a similar taste. Taste is on the bitter side, but balanced. Tasty and easy to drink. Ratto (132) - - DEC 12, 2015
Tap at Porterhouse. Very nice appearance with lasting nitro foam. Aroma coffee, some caramel malta. Taste is a combination of roasted malt and long herbal bitterness, some caramel notes.

33cl bb23/10/2015, whew. Cold, but good quality whole bean filter coffee, woody red berry and blue grape in aroma. Trademark confident Porterhouse roast, going on char, bitter chocolate powder, ground berries, cold coffee. Easy drinking, especially compared to their masterpiece of a 4x Wrasslers Stout dark hole wallop.
