11.2 oz. bottle thanks to David. Appearance: 2 fingers great tan head, dark brown color, clear, Aroma: heavy chocolate, light grassy hops, hint of roast. Palate: medium to full body, average to slightly less than average carbonation, slightly sticky, light dry finish, velvety smooth. Taste: sweet chocolate and caramel with a slight soapy and grassy bitter hop finish that peaks in a little bit, finishes with sweet. Overall, very pleasant beer, impressed. Nothing really to write home about, but very nice beer to have a few of.

330ml bottle. Clear, darkest brown colour with ruby red glimmer and late awakening, average, thick, creamy, fairly lasting, superabundantly lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of roasted grain, coffee surrogate, dark bread, pumpernickel, saltwater. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, a touch of dark chocolate, dark bread, pumpernickel, a minmally salty touch.

Nitro Tap at brewhouse near glasnevin. For me, this beer is underrated, I found it excellent. Nuanced, creamy, rich and satisfying. Stood up to a [great] smoky burger at the brewpub. Nice dry stout and worth a short break from drinking Guinness.

Draft pour at Porterhouse in Dublin. Black with white head. Dry and malty. Bitter. Not bad but Guinness here is better

Paladares (229) - Madrid, SPAIN - JUL 31, 2015
Botella. Bonito color marrón oscuro rojizo. Bien de espuma color crema. Aroma fantástico. Pasas, pera, chocolate, caramelo... En boca, desaparece bastante el tono frutal y se remarca bastante el café, chocolate y tabaco. Toque seco y amargo al final. Muy buena cerveza.

Draft at the source with the family. Pours a deep brownish black with creamy head. Mouthfeel is creamy smooth with notes of light milk, caramel malt, cocoa and chocolate. Nice.
