Quick3Beers (1507) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 3, 2017
Pours an amber from a bottle, little head. Aroma is a bit of citrus and banana. Flavor is a light banana and maybe a little spiciness. I feel like this is more of a witbier or hefeweizen, and is really only kölsh-y on the finish. Okay beer. j12601 (13297) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - JUN 8, 2017
Pouring at Sierra Nevada Beer Camp 2016 in Boston. Pours a hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Soft wheat, musk, soft banana and yeast notes. Medium bodied, soft yeast, musk, light spice into the finish.

Pours hazy blond with no head. Aroma is of vomit, bile, fruits. Taste is of sourness, wheat, fruits, citrus, very slight acetic acid. Palate: Light-medium body, very soft carbonation. Overall: Weird, messy. Decent. mathieuc (4000) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 10, 2016
On tap at Stoddard’s in Boston. Pour looks like some unfiltered peach juice, flat and without much head. Nose is quite fruity, peaches is what I would have guessed and it kind of make sense with the name. A weird acetic/acidic angle to it, too. Not sure we were served what we ordered? Taste is more fruit juice, apricots and/or peaches. Medium body and medium carbonation. This didn’t feel like a kölsch at all... Weak. czar (9601) - Québec, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 6, 2016
on tap at stoddard’s, boston. murky/muddy pale golden without a cap, no lacing per se. apple and pear orchard fruitiness, fuzzy peaches, spices, light acidity, bretty woodsiness, minerals. moderate carbonation, light body, dry and tart spicy-citrusy finish. awkward infected fruit kölsch.

Draft at Park Cambridge, MA on18 July, 2015. Mostly cloudy gold color with thin head in branded Portico glassware. Aroma is mild floral hops, corn, notes of honey. Scrapersnbeer (1532) - Boston, Massachusetts, USA - APR 15, 2013
The flavor will not give you any surprises, pale malt and grain base giving notes of honey and corn/ grain.
Body is lighter as this lager should be. The one nice character is that the hop profile is slighter lager then what the style guidelines call for. Don’t misunderstand, It is not overly hopped, just enough to make it slightly different then every other in the style. A light lingering floral note to cut the sweetness. I drained the glass easily and could session this with the best in style.
The first rating...giggity. This was described to me as a Belgian white to me by the server at the Union in Newton. To hear the description here I understand better. Citrus and banana of a wheat beer, plus the grainy grind of a kolsch. It is unfiltered and looks like a light dunkelweizen. Taste is spicy citrus and sweet pale malts. Interesting style hybrid, as the name seems to suggest.
