Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours hazy amber gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is pretty floral. Med minus body. Flavor is hard to describe. It’s floral. I get some rose. It’s also Belgian yeast/spice. Wasn’t getting banana ester, but now I do. I’m beginning to think one could find anything in this. I’m beginning to think the rose wasn’t. Not so flavorful as an earthy Belgian, but very tasty in a rather light way. Finishing sort of citrously bitter. Good ale. bb (9789) - Alamo, California, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light spice aroma. Yeast and malt flavor with light spice and light fruitiness. Medium bodied. Yeast and malt linger with light fruitiness and light floral notes. douglas88 (9632) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAR 7, 2013
12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white head. A nice sweet candy and floral nose. Pretty smooth flavors, some biscuit, sugar, corn, big rose. Certainly a little rose goes a long way here. This beer works. Sledutah (7841) - Utah, USA - MAR 3, 2013
12oz bottle picked up at the state store boFNjackson (4230) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 21, 2013
Appearance: Pours clear golden with small white head that dissipates quickly
Aroma: Floral, banana, clove and spices
Taste: Belgian yeast, herbal and bitter floral, dry
Nice and refreshing, the wife is going to finish the glass.
Bottle... Poured golden with a thin head that faded quickly. Mostly Belgian yeast esters on this one. Pretty pedestrian. A little herbalness and floral tones with lemongrass, citrus, and some malt sweetness. Belgian yeast finish.

Pleasant beer. Bright-gold hue; quickly fading head. Soft and fluffy texture. Cakey and doughy malt flavors; faint earthiness. Gentle aromas of herbs, perfumes and flowers. Banana and bubblegum in the back. Light, peppery bitterness. mjg74 (3182) - La Mesa, California, USA - FEB 23, 2015
Bottle from Fred Meyer. Light copper in color. Sweet yeasty nose. Very sweet smelling with a whiff of perfume. Sweet fruity yeast flavors up front. Going into a lightly bitter hopped finish. Tastes like a straight up Belgian ale to me. bpreo (2943) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - FEB 7, 2013
Brand new Belgian Style Ale with Rose Hips added in the batch. I think Rose Hips are a sleep aid. Hmmm, maybe I should not be drinking this one so early on. Gription79 (2892) - Bountiful, Utah, USA - FEB 15, 2013
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle. Pours a golden amber. Restricted Belgian yeast character is the first thing I notice. Sweet malts, grainy, spicy. This whole beer is subtle. There is some astringency/tannins possibly from the rose hops. This is a standard Pyramid brewed beer. Meh. Reid (2626) - Salem, Oregon, USA - JAN 26, 2013

22oz bottle from Roth’s Sunnyslope Market in S.Salem.
Pours a dark golden with a rosy tint especially in the generous head.
Estery ,spicy, banana wheat aromas, slight semi-vegetal fruitiness if that makes any sense!
Taste is semi dry with definate rose hip tones ( used to eat rose hip skins back in Scotland as a kid),vegetal, slight black peppercorn, then a slight plum taste. Altogether quite complex yet light.
Nice palate for the style..its light enough to aid drinkability.
I liked this one quite a bit..but the rose hip tastes might be off putting to some.
