COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A smooth, nutty, malty, full-flavored ale with a creamy white head. An original blend of six types of malted barley and two varieties of Northwestern-grown hops. The Nut Brown makes a good after-dinner, dessert beer. This one went down so fast we couldn’t finish describing it--one of the best nut brown ales you’ll find anywhere.

chinchill (5320) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 8, 2017
On tap at the brewery in Pocatello, Idaho. This arrived with an excellent head over a nearly opaque, brown-black body. Attractive, malty aroma. Flavor: lightly bitter with hints of roast coffee; semi-sweet chocolate, slightly burnt toast and black bread. Smooth, medium-light body.

IndianaRed (5040) - Boise, Idaho, USA - NOV 19, 2016
On tap at the brewery Clear deep reddish brown. Toasted brown malt aroma slightly of maple syrup. Flavor though was a bizzare chemically papery flavor. Just off.

Had on draft at the brewery. There are notes of chocolate, coffee, fruity, and roasty. A nice enough beer. Nothing really impressive, but it is drinkable.

Tap: Clear brown with a frothy light brown head. Vanilla, nutty aroma. Thin bodied brown ale with light flavors of nuts, malts, very mild bananas with a slight bitter aftertaste. Not bad for a Pocatello brewery.
