This brew has developed it’s own following in our community. We believe this to be our coup d’ grace. The Midnight boasts our largest malt bill, combining a multitude of our specialty roasts with a twist of wheat malt, which gives it it’s creamy consistency. Extremely bold and flavorful, you’ll not forget this experience. Can you handle the Satin tonight?

On tap at the Barley Bros Brew Fest, Meridian ID. Deep black with a small tan head. Full dark roasty aroma and plenty of roasted and some anise on the young. A slight chalky feel and a moderate. Bitter bite at the end

Slight malty roasted aroma at the start but not overpowering. Mostly cloudy appearance ( not uncommon for this dark of style.) Good malt and roast flavors but a bit roast bitterness at the finish. Slightly watery mouthfeel but carbonation level is perfect for the style.

Draught @ pontneuf- pours thin and dk dk brown with a nice tan head...aroma is toasty cocoa and lightly roasted grain...flavour is similar, a touch of sweetness and a bit thin on the end, but a nice sweet stout that I’m glad I sought out.

Draft pint at Ruby Tuesdays in Pocatello. Pitch with a nice creamy head. Nose is cocoa, caramel, graham cracker, and coffee with sour cream. Flavor is a great blend of the same with some light char and a hint of salt. Medium-heavy body really is smooth as satin, slightly chewy and chalky, and very drinkable.

Draft: Dark brown pour with a finger of tan head. Nose is full of espresso and roast with light chocolate. The taste is in perfect harmony with the aroma. Nice weight too. Finished roasty and lightly bitter. Good.

Aubrey (3517) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - AUG 29, 2008
At brewery: Dark, with a creamy texture. Woodsy, wholesome, smoky and a bit burnt. Sweet chocolate, sugared milk and a pinch of lactic. Some bitter hops and dark chocolate softened the sweetness. Decent stout.
