Cask gravity at GBBF 2007. Copper with bubbly beige head. It’s got some good hops, one of the better IPAs today. It’s got enough balance to carry it off. Superb. Acutally does what it says. Good hop/malt balance. Good hoppy bitterness. Oakes (17680) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 24, 2008
Hazy golden-amber. Grapefruit nose with light tropical fruits and a hint of toasty malts. Fresh, fruity hop are dry but slightly astringent. Malts are a shade husky. Some sweetness in the finish. Blends well with the fruitiness. yngwie (17053) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUN 9, 2015
Cask at the brewpub. Pineapple juice edition. A clear one, dark golden in color and topped by a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma is grapefruity and piney, with a generic citrus touch and some malts. There’s a nice bitterness in the flavor, with lots of grapefruity, piney hops and a vague, malty backdrop. It’s full-bodied and soft, with a high level of carbonation for a casked beer. Semi-dry. Lasting hop dominated finish. Really lovely this IPA, sure worth a revisit or three. 150608
