Drank at brewery on 7/18/11. Color was cloudy like lemonade. Thin bubbly head in a flute glass. Medium amounts of carbonation. No aroma when it’s cold. As it warms its of sea salt. Taste is of orange peel, wheat and little salt. Reminds me of a flat citrus fresca with a dry finish. Very refreshing on a hot summers day. Loved it! daknole (11049) - Scottsdale, Arizona, USA - JUN 18, 2011
Cloudy gold pour. Wheat aroma, tart, lemons, light saline. Flavor is such a cool mix of saltiness, wheat, lemons. Love it! merc7186 (3142) - North Tonawanda, New York, USA - OCT 26, 2013

Overall, a really nice Gose...add some spice and it could be a saison. Worth Trying. Goodgrief (2028) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - JUN 9, 2010
The buzz in beer circles is that a beer has to be over the top to be truly appreciated. Nay, I say! I really liked this! The pour was oddly opague...like water dirtied by light colored sand. The aroma...I hate to say it, but it really did smell somewhat like vomit. But the taste, I say, was delicious! Subtle wheat flavors accentuated by a light fruity flavor with a distinctly sour finish. Yes, it was salty, too. A wonderfully unique experience...not the least disappointed that I forewent some more assertive selections for this! Travlr (24768) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - MAY 19, 2013
Draft at the source. Murky yellow color, small white head, solid lacing. Aroma of black pepper and lemon bubblegum, very nice. Taste is also peppery bubblegum.

Pours a murky, cloudy, medium to light hazy straw yellow, with relatively little lacing. The aroma is sweet with the smell of malt and lemons. Some esters and undoubtedly some funk and feet. The flavor is somewhat sweet with a tinge of bitterness. Some lemons and some hefe/belgian funkiness are present. The palate is somewhat dry with a great body. GABF 2010. Had one after the other with the Gordon Biersch and Golden City, and all 3 were great- hard to tell which was the best. This poured a light hazed greenish gold with a nice head. Aroma is fresh doughy bready malts, pilsner, wheat, light coriander citrus spice, hint of seasalt. Flavor is a bit more salty, not as tart- low acid, good wheat, crisp clean malts, and light spices, smooth, clean and easy drinking- fresh. Good stuff. blipp (9275) - La Mesa, California, USA - JUN 11, 2011
Bottle at RBSG Grand Tasting. Pours hazy gold with a white head. Wheaty and citric aroma with hops and a hint of tartness. The flavor has wheat, citrus, pale malty notes, and some light hops. Awesome easy drinking stuff. TheHopster (1111) - Netcong, New Jersey, USA - JUL 28, 2011
On draft at the brewery with a fine dinner of mussels during our stay in Portsmouth; New England vacation 2011. Unfiltered complexion. Lemon and subtle malt flavors. Ibrew2or3 (8614) - Tempe, Arizona, USA - AUG 19, 2011
Pours hazy murky dark sort of grapefruit juice with no head. The aroma has some fruit notes like dull apricot, coy apple-ness and faint yeasty notes. The taste is smooth with wheat notes, hay, meadows, a touch of salt, smooth yeasty like spices and subdued light skinned fruitiness. It ends with salt on the edge of the palate. Cool brew.
