BitchesBrew (716) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUN 4, 2007
[bottle from the brewpub] Pours a gleaming copper color, with a nice white head and some serious lacing around the glass. Grassy, piney hop aroma-- very nice. Citrus flavors up front, like orange and grapefruit, with some amazing finishing hops, providing an impressive, lasting bitterness. Alcohol content is kind of subtle, but still noticable. A really nice IIPA, overall.

Bottle. Thanks to zrrbrrt for sharing. Dark orange body with thin head. Grassy aroma - somewhat odd. Taste is grassy and with a mixture of fruit in there. Alcohol detected. Gave me hoppy burps. Pretty smooth though. I enjoyed this one.

Thanks to zrrbrrt for sharing this one that he got via warriorsoul... Appears hazy, semi-transparent with a small white head that fades into a tiny collar. Spotty remnants of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of grapefruit, brown sugar, orange, herbal, caramel, and light fruit. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with a heavy dosage of grapefruit and citrus zest. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, yeasty, fruity, bitter...perhaps a bit too bitter and out of balance but not bad at all. I just wasn’t too crazy about this one.

hopdog (12568) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2007
22oz bottle shared courtesy of zrrbrrt. Poured a medium and hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas grapefruit rind, orange peels, caramel, pine and caramel. Tastes of grapefruit, oranges, caramel, and melons. Nicely balanced. Alcohol content well hidden. A very enjoyable IIPA.

TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - APR 5, 2007
Thanks to zzbrrt. Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with an average bubbly off white head that left slight lacing. Aroma of caramel, pine, orange, grapefruit, candy corn and some oxidation. Flavor of caramel, pine, grapefruit and a slight butterness hidden in there. Kind of thin and lots of bitterness.
