Bottle 660ml. at home.Ungstrup (38413) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2005
[ Trade with tertons ]. Clear dark brown black color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, chocolate, coffee notes, alcohol notes, metalic notes. Flavor is heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy and smooth, carbonation is soft.
A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is very sweet and roasted with strong coffee notes, and the flavor is a little less sweet than the aroma indicates, but the roasted malt is more present in the flavor and again it has a strong coffee presence. joergen (29216) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - DEC 4, 2005

Opaque dark brown beer. Residual tan head. Light palate, mildly effervescent dark malts. Subtle coffee and buttercream in the finish. Subtle red fruit in the undertone. All very well joined up. Light finish. Hugely drinkable RIS, light and tasty. Just shaded the Southampton for me.
UPDATED: MAR 31, 2009 (Bottle 65 cl) Black as tar with a small, chocolatey, brownish head. Vinous, burned aroma. Very burned malty flavours. Dry body with distinct notes of chocolate. 031205
