Draft @ the source on 24 April, 2014. Easy to drink with my dinner. Clear gold pour with a small cap of head. Aroma is light grain, corn and pale malt.swoopjones (7020) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 4, 2011
Flavor starts with a grainy texture leading to traces of caramel malt. The light body and dry texture leads to notes of hay. The finish displays a bit more hops than you normally find in the style. Nothing over the top, just enough to know its there. Grassy with low bitterness. Simple style that is help by the grassy hops.
Draft at Portsmouth brewery. Deeper golden pour, grassy and sauvignon blanc like wineiness in aroma. Wineiness really carries over into flavor. Grassyn grapiness. Floral and dry fruitiness. Ok User37895 (3085) - - APR 3, 2011
Bottle courtesy doulos/goodgrief. Pour was light straw colored, thin head. The aroma was straw, some grass, sweet caramel. The flavor was caramel, bubblegum (a little off for the style, maybe toasted marshmallows captures it too), slight astringency, grassy hops in the finish. Mouthfeel is fairly full for the style, on the malty side, a tad too malty perhaps. A decent example of the style, though, just looking for more crispness, although the reviewers below seemed to all find enough crispness. Goodgrief (2071) - Middletown, Delaware, USA - MAR 12, 2011
Bottle. Clear, dirty straw color.. Grainy flavor, grassy...just the wat one of these should be. A little oversweet finish . Still, pretty good example and pretty enjoyable. Jblauvs (1357) - Chester, Vermont, USA - FEB 22, 2011
Golden pour from a bottle
Aroma is clean, grassy, some toasted maltiness. Very drinkable, mouthfeel is crisp, clean. Light sweetness from toasted malt up front with some light bitter grassiness on the finish. Leaves a pleasant lingering grassiness as well, crisp and refreshing. Pretty much what I was expecting.

Draught sampler at the brewery. Much better than expected kolsch (typically I find them bland). Pretty snappy and tasty for the style, with a stronger than expected hop profile. Easy drinking. FanwickMike (6) - Alabama, USA - SEP 22, 2008 does not count
light, clear, pretty hoppy for a Kolsch. part of a sampler 09/21/08. pretty tasty.
