Light brown pour with one finger head. Aroma is toasty biscuit malt with hints of roast and sweet malt. Flavor is bready and sweet, with only a slight hop balance. growler-pours a disappearing off white head and amber color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel. Taste is sweet medium malt-caramel/some chocolate, some metallic hops bite. Mild carbonation. surffisher (198) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Bomber bottle fresh from brewery. Pours reddish amber with a bit of cloudy haze and a thick off-white head that subsides to a nice thin cover. Carmel sweet, slightly roasty, nutty malt aroma gives way to some citrusy hops and spicy notes. Flavor is surprisingly dry, but quite nice. The spice and roasty nut notes come through, as does the hop bitterness with just a bit of dry hop finishing character. Light-medium bodied, moderate carbonation, and quite smooth and creamy. Pretty nice beer! BuckNaked (1230) - Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA - APR 2, 2006
22oz bottle thanks to Argo0: Pours to medium amber with a light ruby tint when held to the light. Sitting atop is a medium beige head that lasts with nice retention and lacing down the sides of the glass. The aroma is lightly sweet malt, nuts, with some mild fruit and caramel. Taste is dry caramel, apples, earthy sweet malt, and a bit of dry hop pellets towards the finish. Light bodied, moderately carbonated, finishes with a bit a of earthy malt and grassy hops. argo0 (14127) - Washington DC, USA - APR 2, 2006
