COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a British Strong Ale that we brewed in honor of the one footed pigeon who rules the roost out back of the brewery. This is a dark brown ale that commands your attention.. Very nice residual sweetness and small hints of roasted malt give this beer some nice malt flavor that works well with the higher ABV and the bready flavor from the British yeast.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours nut brown with a creamy beige head and decent lacing. Tastes like very nutty malt, dried fruits, toast, and a hint of chocolate. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like nutty malt and toast.

Tap at brewery. Pours clear, light brown. Aroma and flavor are toasted and pale malts, light caramel, some woodiness, and very faint berry notes. Medium body.

On draft at the brewpub it is a clear Amber color with a slight head. The aroma is malty and the taste is thin bitter of caramel and a bitter roast finish

Pours deep mahogany into a snifter. Mocha head with little retention recedes leaving sticky lacing. Dark caramel and chocolate aromas. Dusty cocoa and vanilla upfront turning to dark, dry pit fruit and earth.

Pours dark brown with a thick, creamy, tan head that stays forever. Solid lacing like a paint job! Nose is malty. Taste follows suit and is predominately sweet. Full body. Mild carbonation. Nice brew. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle shared by Bob at Levi’s tasting. My notes said "fancy brown ale" and I think that fits. Malt and light sweetness with dried fruit. The alcohol on this one will sneak up on you, it is well hidden.

Bomber from Bob - thanks! Rich deep amber pour with a smaller head. Malty with leather and a bit of dark fruit - I’m digging it.

On tap at the source. Pours a nasty looking rusty, muddy, reddish brown with a small off white head. Minor lace. Aroma is malt, brown sugar, dirt and my old baseball glove that’s still in my mother’s attic somewhere. Flavor reflects the above. A little bit to the sweet side with some dark fruit hints. Tries to be dark fruit and chocolate, but ends up closer to dirt. Soft palate that’s easy to drink. Was expecting more from this one, given the establishment I was in. Proof, I guess, sometimes you strike out with 2 men on in the bottom of the ninth.
