A bready yeasty aroma with a brown sugar kicker. A hazy golden/brown pour. Sweet malt, corriander, with a hint of abv and a nice light bitter. Medium bodied with a light carbonation. Pastor (799) - Skowhegan, Maine, USA - JUL 27, 2009
had this on draft at the brewery. The tap handle will say Saison but this is the right brew. It was served in a pint glass because of my Pint membership. The brew had a nice two finger white head the trailed of to nothing and the body of the brew is an apricot color.
This brew has a fragrant aroma of spice and slight funky Belgian yeast. The flavor of the beer is sweet and fruity with a slight bitter finish. There is a light to medium feel in your mouth with light carbonation I wish there was more. I drink there enough to know it will be more carbonated from the taps down stairs (hint)
I like a Saison during the summer and nothing beats one on tap. It is great with a salad for lunch and I have had quite a few of these that way

Hazy golden color with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of coriander, orange, light banana, clove, pils malt, and toast. Taste of citrus, spices, toast, orange, and a drier finish.

I liked this a lot. It was spicy, with peppery citrus flavor. It had pine notes too. Light carbonation, golden yellow color, Light/med bodied with a nice long finish. goldtwins (4320) - Nesconset, New York, USA - FEB 24, 2010
PPRBSG 09. Poured a clear gold color with an off-white head. Yeasty aroma with citrus and banana notes. The flavor had a wheaty citrus taste with notes of banana and toffee. Medium bodied. JoeMcPhee (9427) - Toronto, ON, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 7, 2009
Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pale amber/gold beer. Aroma is quite interesting. Bright lemony thyme, mint and herbal spice up front. The more typical banana and apricot notes appear in back, but thankfully, they aren’t overly sweet and cloying. There is a lot of clove and wheat flavour that pick up as the beer warms a bit, giving it a flavour like a cross between saison and hefeweizen. Quite full-bodied and a bit sweeter than it likely should be, but it isn’t cloying. Unusual take on the style. jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - JUN 24, 2011
on tap-pours a white head and gold color. Aroma is light malt, fruit-pear, some spice. Taste is clove, rock candy, light malt, fruit-pear, secondary spice/pepper. OK carbonation. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 8, 2009
PPRBSG09. Bomber. Pours a hazy dull copper orange with a thin lasting white head. Aroma is orange citrus, lemon zest, spices, herbal and a bit grassy- flowery hops light salty spicy phenolic saison yeast- smells a bit doughy but sweet and a fruity ester. Flavor is a bit sweet, fruity lower on phenolics, herbal and a touch grassy touch of lime zest with a touch more sweetness. Finishes a bit sweet, and a bit muddled. Meh.
