Pours a cloudy reddish brown color. Aroma is slightly earthy with some sourness. Body is a bit thin and taste has a little funk and earthyness to it. Fizzy and odd. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUN 14, 2009
Bomber at PPRBSG09. Pours a ruby brown with a thin diminishing head. Aroma is a bit funky but in a bad way- wet dog, earthy, leather, mildewy, cherry pits. Flavor has more black cherry and cyanide character, pitty woody, herbal and earthy with more weird wet dog character, slight ox soy, mint, and a light acidic finish. Bottle at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering. Pours a hazy brown with a thin white head. Crisp light funk and a clean sourness. Tart apple notes. LilBeerDoctor (4128) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 5, 2009
Bottle at PPRBSG09. Pours brown with a small head. Aroma of sour yogurt. Flavor is very yogurty and lactic. No malt backbone at all. I didn’t like this one much...

Bottle: Hazy amber brown hue with a fading tan head. Fruity tart aroma- acetic notes with passion fruit and cranberry. Crisp and tart body. Nice acetic character- mildly sweet, more tart fruity notes with passion fruit and raspberry like character. Mild lactic background. Finishes clean. A nice example of the style.

Bomber at PilsnerPeter’s Spring Gathering shared by MicroGrog, thanks Adam. Pours a dead looking ruby brown. Aroma is musty, musky, and dirty and lightly burnt malts. Flavor is like a sour cola with acetic qualities. Some chocolate sour cola flavors. Cool stuff, has a lightly tingling mouthfeel. notalush (5909) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - JUN 3, 2009
Bottle at Peter’s NY gathering - cloudy copper - no head - aroma of cherry skins and yogurt cultures - earthy throughout, with some light acidic notes, natural fruit tartness, more notes of yogurt - finishes with some red wine vinegar flavors - decent. 6-27-08 bottle shared with lb4lb thanks to pastor (joepais) lb4lb (2629) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 30, 2008
Semi clear orange amber. Smell is URINE and stinky socks. Weird sour flavor of berries and feet. Gross overall - the smell makes me want to weep it is so awful
Bottle courtesy of pastor. (joepais) Thanks man!
Pours lightly clear dark maroon with a short lived head. Smell is sour cheese and feet. Taste is equally as odd with sourness, funky, musty dirty cheese and a foot like flavor. Sweet cheese comes in as well. Unlike any Sour Ale I’ve had before, and I’m glad I didn’t have the entire bottle to myself. Very odd beer.
