Bottle from the brewery shared with my brother.
Light orange amber color with a decent off white head. Spicy minty hop with a solid caramel maltiness to back it up. Decent brew. Drake (14061) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 19, 2015
Northeast Bucket List Trip Beer #50. Keg at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a large creamy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, citrus, mild nuts. The taste is citrus hops, stone fruits, mild caramel. Medium bodied, crisp. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - JUN 3, 2012
22oz Bottle from the Brewery labeled: California Common
Assuming this is the same beer.... I have a picture when the add pic feature reappears....
Info from the brew list:
Along with Cream Ale, this is America’s other indigenous beer style, made with lager yeast & fermented at 55° to create a fruity lager with a good hop presence.
Pours a rich copper color with aromas of noble hops, wheat bread and notes of fruity caramel malts... On the palate its crisp and a great balance between slightly bitter saaz style hops and round malts with glimpses of barley wine finish mixed with a bohemian pilsner... nice light flavorful beer !

Nice dark golden color with a light head. This had a great aroma and a flavor that was very much like a deep California common. A good easy summer drinking beer.

2004 draught. Pours a bright yellow, light straw golden, with a small white head. Aroma has hints of corn/rice or something lightly bittersweet. Something a bit off, anyways. Flavor is more of the same, a rice sharpness, light syrupy bittersweetness on the finish and just too sharp overall. Strange one here.
