Pour was hazy gold color with minimal head and lacing. Faint aroma of bananas. Mild wheaty base with a sweet fruity sweet presence. Smooth mouthfeel with mild carbonation. This reminds me of Bells Oberon, which is a good thing. dirtymike (2016) - Manchester, New Hampshire, USA - DEC 22, 2003
Deep golden in color,with a cloudiness that was expected.Thin white head.Very subtle fruity,spicy aroma and flavor.Tart,dry finish. GAManiac (1944) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - OCT 30, 2008
This one pours a hazy golden amber with a soapy white head that showed good retention and decent lacing.
The aroma was less sweet than I expected with only small amounts of the wheat and bubblegum sweetness common in the style. There were some decent citrus hops in there. The taste is a little more complex and has more banana sweetness than the aroma. There is a solid wheat base with the hops coming back in the finish.
The mouthfeel is crisp with a slight hoppy/sour tang at the finish that lingers between sips. This is a pretty good beer and definitely drinkable, but nothing to write home about. VTHopHead (1511) - Seymour, Tennessee, USA - OCT 11, 2009
Draft at the brewpub - Poured a golden amber in color with a small bright white head. Flavor is grainy with an underlying citrus character. Slightly sour on the finish. Easy drinking and good... Jblauvs (1358) - Chester, Vermont, USA - SEP 17, 2009
Hazy Golden pour with a white head. Aroma is rather bland wheat and some honey sweetness. Flavor is a bit soapy with some wheat and banana sweetness. Really not very pleasant. Saving grace is an interesting tart crispness in the finish. Not Psmouth’s best effort

Draught. Cloudy appearance, with small white head. Slight yeast in aroma. Flavor is a typical American Wheat, with a decent bitter finish. Grainy and slightly yeast in flavor too. radarsock (1194) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Had on-tap @ Portsmouth Brewey yesterday evening. Pours a woody honey orange. Smells and tastes very yeasty, papery and tangy, just enough wheat, ending with a hint of grape skins and tapioca. SuperTiti33 (891) - Aylmer, Quebec, CANADA - MAY 6, 2014
Blonde. Dorée. Légèrement trouble. Très légère. Simplette. Maïs. Fine amertume. Un peu âcre. ericnixon (746) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 30, 2005
Bottle bought at the store in front of the brewpub. Cloudy gold color with a light wheaty aroma. On the watery side with a light malty aftertaste. KariCupcake (214) - Lenox, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 30, 2005
Kind of murky yellow color. Smooth and kind of hoppy. Tastes like regular beer. Nothing really special.
