5th of my 10 tasting flight @ Portsmouth. Pours yellowish with an off white ring head. Nose is light wheat. Taste is wheaty with a tasty full mouth feel. Better than I’d expected. BuckeyeBoy (7680) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 15, 2010
On tap at Portsmouth brewpub. Pours out a cloudy golden color topped with a small white head. Aroma was of wheat, grain, and a little lemon zest. Taste was much the same with the wheat leading the way.

Draught @ Brewpub: this one pours a cloudy golden color. A fair amount of a foamy white head that doesn’t linger long but does leave some lacing. The aroma id decent. Mainly some wheat and citrus notes. The taste is also pretty good. Wheat, citrus, and a slightly lighter body. A nice brew. jtclockwork (16581) - , New Jersey, USA - NOV 9, 2013
Bottle. Pours cloudy gold with white head. Nose and taste of lemon, banana, sour wheat, wild yeast and light clove. Medium body. Might be infected, but in a good way.

2004 draught. Bright golden color, quite cloudy as mentioned. Fairly typical american wheat appearance. Aroma is light and spicy, some hops, light yeast. Flavor is thick and chewy wheatiness, moderate citrus notes and moderately sweet. Finish changes things up and becomes dry and lightly astringent. Pretty interesting flavors, but none of them are terribly powerful or lingering. Medium body, quite effervescent. KariCupcake (214) - Lenox, Massachusetts, USA - MAY 30, 2005
Kind of murky yellow color. Smooth and kind of hoppy. Tastes like regular beer. Nothing really special. Leighton (21255) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 8, 2011
On tap at the brewpub. Pours clear, yellow-gold with a small head. Weak nose, some grass and dough. Delicate flavor, some spice and butter. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Subtle off-flavors. Slightly bitter finish. Could be the beer was in poor condition; if not, then this recipe could use some work. radarsock (1194) - Massachusetts, USA - AUG 23, 2012
Had on-tap @ Portsmouth Brewey yesterday evening. Pours a woody honey orange. Smells and tastes very yeasty, papery and tangy, just enough wheat, ending with a hint of grape skins and tapioca. sonnycheeba (5988) - Federal Hill, Baltimore, Maryland, USA - APR 26, 2013
Tap at brewery. Pours hazy gold with average, creamy off-white head; short retention and some lacing. Aroma is banana, cookie and cereal malts, cloves, floral hops, and light toast. Flavor is sweet, bready malts forward with supporting grassy hops, light fruit esters, herbs, and light grapefruit; dry finish. Light body and low carbonation.
