Possmann’s flagship is the one product that has made the company the most recognized apple wine producer in Germany. The Frankfurter Apple Wine is a crisp, clear wine with the distinct harmony of a tart wine with fruit flavor of the apple. Fully fermented with 5.5% alcohol by volume, the apple wine contains no additives. It is extremely low on sugar, (recommended for diabetics), as well as very low on calories. With the natural fruit acids, the wine is very soothing and enhances digestion.

Bottle from a supermarket in Dusseldorf. Pours straw colour. The taste is sour watery apple. A little tartness. Flat carbonation. I can see why apfelwein hasn’t conquered the world. Just about drinkable.

Many thanks fort this cider to kevnic2008. 1000ml and drink only about 150ml. Zwykly, wodnisty napoj lekko gazowany, lekko kwaskowy i lekko owocowy, oczywiscie delikatne odmiany jablek. Przypominalo mi troche nasze papierowki z ogrodu. Na upal i dla kilku osob jakos moze byc. Ale do powolnego saczenia i sie delektowania to raczej nie.

Many thanks to erzengel for sharing! Pours a clear yellow without a head. The smell is mild apple notes. The taste is diluted apple flavour and a dry ending. Light in body. Meh

Dry and sourish beginning. Fruity, watery, sourish. The sourness gets higher in the end, hints of sulfur with sour apples on an easy to drink body. Simple but nice.

Bottle at Borefts, thanks for sharing. Apples, light bitter, very nice cider.

Looks like hazy apple juice. Green apples and sulfur. Taste is really sour. Even for sour apples. Didn’t really enjoy that one.

SinH4 (4955) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2016
Hazy yellow color with no head. Aroma is sulphuric, green apples, citrus. Taste is sour green apples, more sulphur, dry finish. Light-bodied, refreshing. Very slight carbonation. Different from what I had expected, it’s just not too complex and rather light. Probably not the best Äppewoi, it can’t match a good cider. Reminds me of "Sura Moscht" from my home region.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Levi’s place. Thanks Ariel. Clear golden. Aroma of ripe green apples and a bit of sulphur. Mildly tart flavor of ripe green apples with a bitterish note. Decent.
