Possmann’s flagship is the one product that has made the company the most recognized apple wine producer in Germany. The Frankfurter Apple Wine is a crisp, clear wine with the distinct harmony of a tart wine with fruit flavor of the apple. Fully fermented with 5.5% alcohol by volume, the apple wine contains no additives. It is extremely low on sugar, (recommended for diabetics), as well as very low on calories. With the natural fruit acids, the wine is very soothing and enhances digestion.

Ritzn (1890) - GERMANY - MAY 7, 2016
Looks like hazy apple juice. Green apples and sulfur. Taste is really sour. Even for sour apples. Didn’t really enjoy that one.

SinH4 (6393) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - MAY 7, 2016
Hazy yellow color with no head. Aroma is sulphuric, green apples, citrus. Taste is sour green apples, more sulphur, dry finish. Light-bodied, refreshing. Very slight carbonation. Different from what I had expected, it’s just not too complex and rather light. Probably not the best Äppewoi, it can’t match a good cider. Reminds me of "Sura Moscht" from my home region.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Levi’s place. Thanks Ariel. Clear golden. Aroma of ripe green apples and a bit of sulphur. Mildly tart flavor of ripe green apples with a bitterish note. Decent.

Countbeer (6599) - Best of E-Town mit 2 Brauhausen, NETHERLANDS - JUN 20, 2015
Bottle: Served in a shaker:
Cloudy yellow body with some sort of thin spiderweb lacing on top.
Aroma of cellar, apples, dust, apple skin, light funk...
Flavour is tart vinous apples with a light dryness. Quite simple yet also very vinous with a light bitter...
Aftertaste is dry, apple skin, green apples, light meat and a light warm vinous touch.
Low to no carbo, low to lightly medium bodied and a watery tart mouthfeel.
Strange stuff.

Atom (2578) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - APR 11, 2015
Pint can pours a clear pale bubbly straw with no head. Aroma of sweet yet tart and dry Apple. Light Apple flavor some dry and crisp elements but also rubbery playdo flavors. Off flavors make this a no go.

Aroma of apples, not a lot of carbonation. Taste is slightly bitter. Overall good.

minutemat (6133) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - FEB 1, 2015
1 litre bottle thanks to Mctapps! Pours pale yellow with mild apple aroma. Taste bears light sweet apple, faint pear drops & a somewhat dry character. A bit thin but still quenchingly pleasant.

Miksu (5052) - Jyväskylä, FINLAND - NOV 13, 2014
0.5 l can. Golden color. Earthy tart apple aroma with hint of sulfur. Dry earthy apple flavor with some apple seed and tropical notes. Balaced acidity. Carbonation dissipates quickly, making this slightly watery. No frills cider with a cheap table wine feel to it, but there are no serious flaws.

danlo (3294) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - MAR 4, 2014
1L bottle. Clear golden yellow colour, no head - just a thin white rim that quickly disappears, and aroma of sourish apple. Taste is tart apple, abit watery and quite dry with some tannin. Light bodied, low carbonation, clean dry finish. OK, refreshing.
