Bottle. Slightly sweet wheat malt and barnyard aroma. Bright yellow - light effervescence with small head. Nice mildly sweet malt and hay/barnyard flavor. Full bodied. It is a true art to get a Landbier to taste right straight out of a bottle but they’ve done a spectacular job. An excellent bottled Landbier. bembelembe (219) - Zagreb, CROATIA - MAY 6, 2012
Quite enjoyable beer with fenomenally smooth texture. Ingridients are so balanced so they give very nice aroma. Generally moderate to light character, from carbonation to hop bitterness. Aftertaste is beautiful, lasts long enough to pause between sips. Bierkrug (2129) - - DEC 30, 2008
Truly and outstanding Landbier. Nice sweet taste aroma a bit off. However a very very good landbier. MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - JUL 14, 2005
(bottle) Clear golden to orange colour with a medium foamy white head. Aroma of malts, floral hops and a nice touch of citrus. Initially slightly sweet malts with a nice subtle fruitiness, which ends in a lingering smooth and crispy finish. A good and well made Landbier. Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - NOV 28, 2009
It’s warm golden with a white, creamy head. The aroma has notes of grain, malt and flower. The flavor has a light sweetness and notes of malt, flower, fresh grain and the finish is slightly dry. It’s well balanced and very pleasant to drink.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured; lacing firm white head; malty aroma: cookies, honey; very slight sweetish beginning, malty taste with some traces of hoppiness; slightly bready, malty finish with quite a lot of bitter undertones; smooth, crispy and very well rounded. Clear light to medium yellow orange color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, dry hay and straw, dusty, moderate hoppy, grass, dusty hops. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
From tap in the brewery this is called "Urbräu". I had it, served in a Steinkrug. Soft malty, hoppy aroma. Malty, hoppy flavor somewhat earthy with a hint of butter. Typical landbier, very refreshing with a short aftertaste.
