McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - SEP 14, 2013
Pours out cloudy dark brown with steady creamy head and medium to smooth body. Nose of malt and bread. Taste of dark grains, leaves, malt, caramel and apples. Well balanced carbonation makes it combined with the mild, smooth taste easy and nice to drink. Solid beer.

BeerViking (4779) - Brentford, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUL 4, 2013
Bottle, deep red-brown with an off-white head, aroma of malt loaf - malt, dried fruit, bread - plus a little toffee and smoke. Big toasty malty body with roast fruit notes, faint tartness, a light spicy hoppiness, a touch of toffee, and a light dry and roasty bitter finish. Very nice.

Bamsen78 (5400) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - JUN 13, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Faint aroma of malt with touches of dried fruit and caramel. Clear flavour of caramel malt with roasty notes. Dry finish. OK even though nothing revolutionary.

Borresteijn (7016) - Zaandam, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2013
50cl Bottle from bierkoning, thanks Edo! ABV is 5.1%, BB 01-2013. Dark reddish brown colour, off-white head. Aroma of rye, pumpernickel bread, chocolate. Flavour is quite sweet, ryebread, chocolate, just a tiny hint of coffee, chocolate finish. Light-bodied. Decent, just a bit too sweet.

oh6gdx (26488) - Vasa, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2012
Bottled. Reddish brown colour with small slightly off-white head, which vanishes quite quickly. Aroma is mild roasted notes, some mild raisins, caramel and toffee as well. Flavour is rather similar with very little bitterness. Rather sweet Dunkel.

Test vom 14.10.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 9,7,8,7,5,7 - 7,25

kevnic2008 (11996) - Baden-Baden, GERMANY - JUL 24, 2012
Clear brown of color with a small white head. An aroma of hay, malt, caramel and cereal. A flavor of hay, cereal, hops, citrus and malty.

stevoj (5033) - Boise, Idaho, USA - JUL 7, 2012
Yummy! Poured into .5 l bier glass, deep brown reddish hues, with moderate carbonation. Almost no head on pour, and nothing once the beer has settled. Roast grains flavor come through on first taste, with minimal aftertaste. Not heavy at all....light in the mouth. Goes good with some good German winter food.
