GraviCask, shared with Finn at Camra’s National Winter Ales Festival. Deep dark brown body. Filmy layer, faint lacing. Inviting smell of brittle caramel. Dark caramel flavours joined by a touch of liquorice. Nicely roasted bitter ending. Smooth in the mouth. Medium bodied . A nice one (Derby 19.02.2016).

imdownthepub (15525) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 30, 2015
Cask conditioned at Birmingham Beer Festival ’15. Very dark brown with cream head. There is a richer, dark maltiness to this, some bitterness, some chocolate hints. Reasonable.

ManVsBeer (11190) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 28, 2014
Cask @ Castle Hotel, Manchester. Dark, black and mild tasting with a small creamy head. Has some roasted malt in its nose and taste.

jjsint (3606) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - OCT 10, 2014
UPDATED: DEC 16, 2017 Gravity cask at the Bedford Beer Festival. Black with a bit of off-white head. Aroma of salt liquorice and coal smoke. Slight tinge of burning plastic. Sharp sweet-sour taste. Sour aftertaste. Weak palate for a beer like this. Very odd and nothing to get excited about really.
